Booking tickets for Disabled Visitors and Assistants/Carers

If you have a disability that restricts your ability to attend the Show on your own to the extent where a helper is needed, then a carer is admitted free.

Please email us at info@ukdroneshow.com then you can book both the disabled visitor’s ticket (at standard ticket price) and also your free carer’s ticket and opt to have them posted out or emailed and print at home. Simply let us know that you wish to book a disabled and carer ticket(s) and we will handle the rest. You will need to bring proof of your disability with you to the show.

If you choose to book online, there is no option to book a carer’s ticket at the same time as the system can currently not support this. In this instance, if you book your disabled ticket (as per standard ticket price) then you can collect a free admission ticket for your carer when you arrive at the NEC on the door.

Assistance at the NEC

If you have any queries or need assistance during your visit, please contact any member of NEC staff who will be happy to help.

Male and female wheelchair accessible toilets are provided throughout the venue.

Disabled parking bays for blue badge holders are available. These are allocated upon arrival by NEC traffic staff. The NEC require disabled visitors to pay the standard charge of £12.00 to park. If you have issues with this and wish to complain please speak directly to the venue via www.thenec.co.uk as this policy is nothing whatsoever to do with the UK Drone Show or any other NEC-based Good To Have Services Events shows.

A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available for hire free of charge to those registered disabled and at a cost of £5.00 per day for visitors who are not registered disabled, on a first come first served basis. Electric scooters can be hired at a cost of £15 per day. Please telephone Bartams on 01353 778756 to book in advance. Lines are open 9.00-18.00 Monday – Sunday.
